RAWALPINDI, Jun 20 (APP): The Rawalpindi Police on Friday continued training scouts at the Police Lines Headquarters regarding security during Muharram-ul-Haram.
During today’s session, DSP Headquarters, Reserve Inspector, Bomb Disposal Squad, Special Branch, Elite and Security Branch staff trained the Scouts about providing first-aid during emergency situations, besides procedure for searching people joining gatherings/processions.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Pothohar Talha Wali chaired a meeting at the SDPO Cantt Office to review security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.
The meeting was attended by SDPO Cantt, SHOs Cantt Circle and the custodians of Imambargahs.
SP Talha Wali said the code of conduct and standard operating procedures issued by the Punjab Home Department regarding Muharram-ul-Haram would be implemented at all costs.
The organizers of the Muharram gatherings/processions assured full cooperation to the administration in the implementation of SOPs.
