ISLAMABAD, Jun 20 (APP):Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday held separate meetings with Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) Shakir Bashir Awan, Ahmad Raza Maneka, Riaz ul Haq Jajja, and Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman Dreshak, as well as Minister of State for Law Barrister Aqeel Malik, here at the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the meetings, the parliamentarians congratulated the prime minister on presenting a “pro-people” and “economically responsible” federal budget for the fiscal year 2025–26. They appreciated the government’s focus on addressing the country’s economic challenges while prioritizing public welfare, a Prime Minister’s Office news release said.
The meetings also included detailed discussions on issues pertaining to their respective constituencies. The MNAs shared feedback from the ground and highlighted developmental priorities in their regions.
In addition, the overall national and political situation was reviewed, with the participants reaffirming their support for the government’s vision of stability and economic reform.
Federal Minister for Public Affairs Rana Mubashir Iqbal and Minister of State for Power Division Abdul Rehman Kanju were also present during the discussions.
