ISLAMABAD, Jun 3 (APP):The terrorists from across the border had carried fire raids and physical attacks on Pakistan’s border
posts and border fencing parties in Bajaur Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Qamar Din Qarez Balochistan.
According to a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday, the terrorists while
taking advantage of ungoverned spaces and facilitation inside Afghanistan, are resorting such attacks
to prevent fencing and construction of border posts.
However, the security forces had responded effectively and repulsed physical attack due to which
six terrorists were killed and many injured while four soldiers of Frontier Constabulary (FC) and
one soldier of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) deployed at observation post, got injured.
To consolidate the gains of successful kinetic Operations against terrorism fencing of Pak Afghan
border and construction of border forts will continue irrespective of the challenges posed by
inimical forces.
The terrorists during last 24 hours had attempted seven attacks in Bajur, the release added.
