ISLAMABAD, Jun 19 (APP): Kyrgyzstan is a good and reliable partner, friend and kin country for Belarus, Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova said as she met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev, BelTA has learned.
“I am sincerely pleased to welcome you to the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. This is a great opportunity to once again compare approaches in cooperation between our countries. For us, Kyrgyzstan has always been and remains a good, reliable partner, friend and kin country. We, of course, highly appreciate it,” Natalya Kochanova said.
“As Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko noted, Minsk and Bishkek have achieved a lot over the past three decades. Our interaction is diverse and deep. Indeed, our heads of state laid a solid foundation for our cooperation, and today we have a good legal framework. These are the agreements that we have today and that have been signed between the governments of our countries.”
According to the speaker, cooperation between the two countries is vibrant. “You know, I have not seen such contacts with any other country. I’ve taken notice of it for myself. Of course, we are happy about this, because we can see what results Kyrgyzstan has today in the economy and in what is being done for the country and for the people. This deserves all respect,” said the chairwoman of the Council of the Republic.
