ISLAMABAD, Jun 18 (APP):Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain telephoned Pakistani Ambassador to Iran Mudassar Tipu and gave the directives to ensure the safe return of Overseas Pakistanis.
Ambassador Mudassar Tipu informed the Federal Minister regarding the safe return of Pakistanis in Iran and all diplomatic staff is busy to complete this safe return process as soon as possible.
The Pakistani Embassy in Iran is working to provide all possible facilities to Pakistanis.
Ambassador Mudassar Tipu said that the contact numbers and helplines have been issued by the embassy so that immediate help can be provided in emergency situations.
Minister Salik Hussain said that the safe return of Pakistani pilgrims and Pakistani students in Iran should be ensured, adding, thousands of overseas Pakistanis are residing in Iran for employment.
The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis is working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the safe return of overseas Pakistanis residing in Iran, the minister said.
