ISLAMABAD, Jun 18 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Wednesday directed the Railway Construction Pakistan Limited (RAILCOP) to immediately clear all its financial liabilities.
Chairing a meeting regarding the operations and performance of the RAILCOP, the minister also emphasized the urgent recovery of all outstanding receivables to streamline its financial discipline and improve its cash flow.
The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of RAILCOP’s ongoing projects, financial matters and overall progress, said a press release.
Among the key ongoing development projects discussed were the construction and development works at Government College University Lahore, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and Cadet College Ghotki.
The minister specifically instructed the Chief Executive Officer of RAILCOP to ensure the timely completion of all these projects.
Hanif Abbasi also stressed the need for maintaining high-quality standards and accelerating the pace of work.
