Lawmakers appreciate Ayaz’s role, supremacy of Parliament to surely address masses’ issues

ISLAMABAD, May 31 (APP):Lawmakers in their farewell speeches here on Thursday appreciated
the performance of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and said
supremacy of the Parliament will ensure to address the basic issues of the masses.
Dr Imran Khattak appreciated the role of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for
conducting the business of the House smoothly.
However, he said present parliament had failed to address the basic issues of the masses.
Riaz Pirzada appreciated opposition leader Khursheed Shah’s role in the parliament and said
he had learnt from Mr Shah.
He said he become the member of the parliament fourth time. He asked political parties to
follow the code of conduct during the proceeding of the house. He also thanked the
parliamentarians for extending cooperation.
He also offered speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to contest elections from his
constituency.
He appreciated the sacrifices of the armed forces for safeguarding the frontiers of the
country.
Aftab Shahban Mirani thanked speaker national assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for giving certificates to the members of the assembly. He also praised the performance of Minister for Parliamentary
Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed.
He expressed the hope that Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will win the next elections.
Aftab Sheikh Ahmed said it was good that the parliament is going to complete its constitutional
terms. He said that credit goes to the members of the parliament due to their
democratic role. He also thanked the employees of the National Assembly for their cooperation.
“All the members of the National Assembly had played their role for the strengthening of the
parliament and democracy,” he added.
He also appreciated the role of opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah’s role in conducting of the
House business. He appreciated the role of media.
Dr. Shireen Mehrunnisa Mazari appreciated the performance of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and said she had learnt how to exhibit patient and tolerance.
She also appreciated the role of Sheikh Aftab Ahmed for
extending cooperation. “I suggest medal for Sheikh Aftab Ahmed for his role in
the parliament,” she added.
Mazari also appreciated the role of opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah for his conduct
during the five years of the parliament. She also appreciated the cooperation
of the National Assembly employees.
Shahida Akhtar Ali appreciated the role of members of the National Assembly for ensuring supremacy of the parliament. She said that employees of the National Assembly had always
extended their cooperation to the members.
Sahibzada Tariq Ullah lauded the role of the speaker national assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. He said it was good that the assembly is completing its constitutional tenure. He also
appreciated the passage of the FATA-KPK merger bill.
Aftab Sherpao Khan appreciated the performance of
speaker national assembly. He also appreciated the role of opposition leader and Sheikh
Aftab Ahmed. He also expressed the hope for timely elections.
Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur appreciated the role of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for running the house in
smooth way.
He said that opposition leader and employees of the national assembly role during the last five year is unforgettable.
Sohail Mansoor Khawaja appreciated the role of opposition leader, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed and speaker national assembly. He said criticism for the sake of criticism will not serve the
interest of the country. He also appreciated the performance of national assembly staff.
Kiran Haider appreciated the performance of the government for eliminating terrorism and
ending of load shedding in the country. She said the government had restored
peace in Karachi and Balochistan province. She said that record development had
been carried out by the government through out the country. “Your role was
remarkable during the whole tenure,” she added.
