PESHAWAR, Jun 16 (APP):Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on health, Advocate Ehtesham Ali, paid a surprise visit to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Takht-i-Bahi.
During the visit, he conducted a detailed inspection of emergency services, availability of medicines, and other hospital facilities.
On this occasion, he also met with patients and their attendants to inquire about the facilities and issues they were facing in the hospital.
Finding the THQ Hospital’s Medical Superintendent, Dr. Imran Johar, and other staff members present and active on duty, he praised and commended them for their dedication.
He emphasized that providing basic healthcare facilities to the public in a timely manner is the government’s top priority.
He added that any negligence on the part of health department officials or their subordinates will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Advocate Ali reiterated that the visit was meant to ensure that services such as emergency.
