Two dacoits apprehended, cash, laptop, ammunition seized

ISLAMABAD, Jun 14 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Saturday apprehended two suspects allegedly involved in a series of robberies and shop snatchings during a major operation carried out by Humak Police.
An official told APP that the arrested suspects, identified as Muhammad Israr and Subhan Iqbal, were part of an organized gang operating in the area. Police recovered snatched cash, a laptop, mobile phones, and weapons along with ammunition used in various robberies from the suspects’ possession.
He said cases have been registered against the accused at Humak Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
He said all legal formalities are being completed to ensure the culprits are brought to justice and awarded exemplary punishment.
He said large-scale operations are underway across the capital against active and organized criminal gangs under a comprehensive strategy.
SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan, said the capital police remain committed to eliminating criminal elements and ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
