PESHAWAR, Jun 13 (APP):The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated Rs 158 billion for police and to maintain peace in the province for the financial year 2025-26.
The allocation has been increased by 27 percent as compared to previous year allocation that was Rs. 124 billion.
The government has allocated Rs 13 billion for procurement of ammunition, vehicles and other needed equipment
from the allocation of Rs. 158 billion.
The provincial government has also decided to construct Command and Control Centre for Safe City Project and its extension to three more districts. The government has also increased to enhance infrastructure of police and counter terrorism department in merged districts.
