KP budget session starts amid opposition protest against alleged corruption in KP

PESHAWAR, Jun 13 (APP): The annual budget of Khyber Pakthunkhwa Government for financial year 2025-26 was started here on Friday afternoon.
The budget session with the Speaker Babar Salim Swati commenced with recitation of the Holy Quran.
Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Ameen Gandapur, opposition leader Dr Ebad Khan, PPP Parliamentary leader Ahmed Kundi and leadership of all parties were present.
At the onset of budget session, the opposition members gathered in front of speaker desk, carrying placards and banners with slogans highlighting the alleged corruption and nepotism in the province.
