Dr Babar calls for democratic participation of educational institutions

ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP):Dr. Muhammad Afzal Babar, the founder and central president of the Private Schools Network Islamabad, has urged private educational institutions to elect responsible representatives for a three-year term using their valuable votes.
During a meeting with central and zonal officials, he highlighted the democratic participation in educational institutions.
Dr. Babar also highlighted that democratic movements in education are essential for achieving national and international goals.
He noted the intense competition in the upcoming Board of Governors elections for the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), particularly for the matriculation level, where both male and female candidates are vying for positions.
To prepare for these elections, the Private Schools Network’s core committee has scheduled an important meeting on June 13, 2025, at the central secretariat.
Dr. Babar called on all affiliated high schools to participate in this meeting and to exercise their voting rights in accordance with the decisions made by the core committee.
