Competent authority approached to place Durrani name on ECL: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, May 28 (APP):Former Chief of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen (Retd.) Asad Durrani was called to the General Headquarters here on Monday to explain his position on the recently launched book “Spy Chronicles.”
“Competent authority has been approached to place the name of Lt Gen (Retd.) Asad Durrani on Exit Control List (ECL),” an ISPR press release said.
A formal court of inquiry headed by a serving Lieutenant General has been ordered to probe the matter in detail, it added.
