BEIJING, May 27 (APP):Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and special envoy of PML-N Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed attended annual dialogue with the Communist Party of China (CPC) in the Shenzhen in Guangdong Province.
More than 500 representatives of political parties from around the world have gathered for the annual dialogue.
Senator Mushahid who had visited Shenzhen, the pilot zone in the reform and opening-up 40 years ago, talking to China Global Television Network (CGTN) said it was then just a fishing village, poor and insignificant.
Seeing the massive change taking place in the last 40 years, he said that “miracle” development is also lessons for other parties and countries.
“Political stability, continuity of policies, cutting red-tape bureaucracy, in these the Communist Party of China has done a remarkable job (and facilitate growth),” he added.
“Leadership with vision, talents who are encouraged to break new grounds, and ample opportunities (are the key to growth),” he said, adding that China’s growth model could also work at other places.
The participants were given the Chinese secret to sustained development during the dialogue.
Li Xi, secretary of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC, said at the event that the sea-change of growth relies on the firm leadership of the CPC.
“The opening-up reform is the key, and it comes with practicing the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,” he said.
The province has been China’s number one provincial economy for almost 30 years, becoming increasingly attractive to global talents.
This success story shared at the special session over the annual CPC dialogue was well accepted.
Representatives from more than 200 world political parties attended the event on Sunday; many say the Chinese secret to growth will go global.
