Al-Khidmat Foundation KP sacrifice animals worth Rs. 156.6m on Eid-ul-Adha

PESHAWAR, Jun 10 (APP):Under the Qurbani Project 2025 of Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the volunteers of Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sacrificed 792 large and 337 small animals worth over Rs. 158.6 million during the three days of Eid.
The meat of sacrificial animals were distributed among orphans, widows, madrasa students, deserving Afghan refugees, drug addicts undergoing treatment, deserving prisoners in jails, travelers and caregivers undergoing treatment in hospitals, children with the deadly disease of Thalassemia registered with Al-Khidmat, street children and transgender community.
Sacrificial meat was delivered to the needy and deserving families belonging to other deprived classes.
Noorul Wahid Jadoon, Provincial Media Manager of Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while releasing details after the completion of the Qurbani Project 2025, said that this year, more than 233,000 people benefited from Al-Khidmat’s Qurbani Project.
He said that Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had organized collective sacrifices in all 36 districts of the province before Eid-ul-Adha, where on the first, second and third days of Eid, sacrificial animals received by Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the country and abroad for the sake of Sunnah Abraham were sacrificed and the sacrificial meat was delivered to the deserving people.
This year, Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also received sacrifices worth more than 7 million 65 thousand for the oppressed Muslims of Gaza.
The sacrifices were sent to Al-Khidmat Center before Eid. Like in previous years, this year too, Provincial President Khalid Waqas had established a central camp in Peshawar for the Qurbani Project 2025 under the supervision of Provincial General Secretary Shakar Siddiqui, Vice President Fida Muhammad Khan and District President Arbab Abdul Hasib, while coordinators were appointed at the divisional level to liaise with the district presidents of all districts, who successfully completed the Qurbani project as a result of continuous hard work on the three days of Eid under an integrated system.
He said that Al-Khidmat volunteers across the province set up camps to collect animal skins at the grassroots level, in which hundreds of Al-Khidmat volunteers worked day and night, and this year the public donated a record number of Qurbani skins to Al-Khidmat Foundation compared to the past.
The money received from the Qurbani skins helps in providing relief to the needy throughout the year.
Al-Khidmat Foundation Provincial President Khalid Waqas welcomed those who donated their sacrificial animals and skins to Al-Khidmat Foundation from the country and abroad.
He thanked Muslim welfare organizations and benefactors. He paid tribute to the valuable services of the provincial, district and zonal teams and volunteers who sacrificed their Eid happiness as a result of their hard work day and night for three consecutive days during the Qurbani Project 2025.
