Sargodha, Jun 10 (APP):The Cantonment Board Sargodha (CBS) took steps to ensure exemplary cleanliness arrangements on Eid-ul-Adha.
According to a CBS spokesperson here on Tuesday, a control room and complaint cell were established in the CBS office for public convenience. The board formed 10 monitoring teams in 10 wards and set up complaint cells at 6 important highways and locations.
The Cantonment Board provided 20,000 biodegradable bags free of cost to citizens for safe disposal of sacrificial animal waste. A team of 300 sanitation workers, supervised by public health officials, collected and disposed of waste in a timely manner using 33 vehicles.
Vice President Cantonment Board, Chaudhry Imran Ghuman, and board members supervised the cleanliness operation in their respective wards.
CBS Executive Officer Arsalan Haider Hashmi personally reviewed all arrangements to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
