ISLAMABAD, Jun 02 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday attended a ceremony to mark Italy’s National Day on the invitation of the Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, Marilina Armellin.
During the event, Governor Kundi joined the Ambassador and other distinguished guests in cutting a celebratory cake in honor of Italy’s National Day.
Extending warm congratulations on behalf of himself and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Governor Kundi conveyed best wishes to the Italian government and people.
He said that both Italy and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are renowned for their rich cultural heritage and attractive tourist destinations, making them significant for global tourism.
The Governor also highlighted the long-standing diplomatic and political relations between Pakistan and Italy, which have spanned over 75 years and continue to grow stronger with each passing day.
The event was attended by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, members of parliament, political figures, diplomats, and prominent business personalities.
