KHANEWAL, Jun 02 (APP):Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) regional director Ghulam Hussain Khosa on Monday warned students that Swift Centers set up by the university stood dysfunctional since July 2024 and urged them not to trust if some person or private entity offer them services in the name of swift centers.
The Multan regional director said in a statement that Swift Centers were set up to facilitate students on experimental basis but were closed due to some technical reasons. “But it has come to our knowledge that some persons and private entities were using AIOU Swift Centers name,” he added. AIOU has no link with such people or entities, he said and advised students not to trust such elements and contact directly the AIOU main campus or regional office in Multan for any guidance or problem.
He said, AIOU reserves the right to take legal action against such elements/students in case of their involvement in any illegal act. Students must be aware that no Swift Centers were now functioning under AIOU and they should not trust any person or entity if they offer services with claims that they were representing AIOU Swift centers, he said.
