FAISALABAD, Jun 02 (APP):City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar has directed police officers to ensure speedy justice in addition to adopting zero tolerance policy against criminal activities across the district.
Addressing an open court (Khuli Katcheri) in his office here on Monday, he said that it was the first and foremost duty of police to provide full safety and security to the lives and properties of people. In this connection, he directed police officials to address public grievances immediately but strictly on merit.
He also highlighted the internal accountability and said that any mistreatment of citizens or undue delay in the registration of cases would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He directed police officers to act with responsibility and fairness and said that all applications must be handled with honesty and diligence. He also heard public complaints and issued orders for their redress.
