DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jun 02 (APP):The district emergency service-Rescue 1122  held a community awareness session for the staff and students of Gomal Welfare Institute of Medical Sciences to train them on how to effectively respond in emergency situations.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesman, the session was held under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Engineer Fasihullah.
The training wing of Rescue 1122 briefed the participants on key aspects such as first aid, personal and team safety, patient care, and quick and effective emergency response techniques.
During the session, Rescue professionals emphasized the critical importance of the “Golden Minutes”—the first few moments after an emergency occurs—and how timely and correct actions during this period can save lives.
Students and staff lauded the efforts of Rescue 1122 and expressed their commitment to applying the life-saving skills they had learned in real-life situations.
