MULTAN, Jun 02 (APP):A body of a 22-year-old youth was recovered from a vacant plot in Rashidabad, located in Faizabad Town, on Sunday, rescue officials said.
The deceased was identified as Kashif.
According to initial observations, there were visible torture marks on several parts of his body.
Soon after the report, a large number of police personnel from the concerned jurisdiction reached the scene.
Preliminary findings suggest that the youth was subjected to torture before being murdered.
Rescue teams shifted the body to Nishtar Hospital under police custody.
A case was registered, and police launched an investigation into the incident.
