SARGODHA, May 31 (APP):The District Court on Saturday awarded nine years of life imprisonment and a fine of Rs.80,000 to a culprit of drug peddling case.
According to a press release issued by DPO office,the convicted Irfan was apprehended by Bhalwal police red-handed while drug trafficking 3.1 kg of hashish and 350 grams of ice (methamphetamine).
Following his arrest,the police compiled strong evidence and submitted a comprehensive challan to the court.
The honorable court,considering the concrete evidence and the effective legal follow-up, sentenced Irfan to nine years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs.80,000.
