ECP proposes to fix general election date

ISLAMABAD, May 21 (APP):The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday sought Presidents’ permission for
fixing the dates for holding the ensuing next general elections 2018 on specific date from
July 25 to 27.
According to a press release, a summery has been sent to the President, proposing that
the election date should be fixed from July 25 to 27 as per clause 57 (1) of the Election
Act 2017.
