CHINIOT, May 29 (APP):Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Traffic Khurram Shahzad, has initiated an awareness campaign on Thursday to prevent underage driving.
According to police spokesman, the campaign aims to educate citizens about the risks and implications of underage driving and promote road safety.
Khurram Shahzad distributed awareness pamphlets among citizens in different areas of the city, highlighting the dangers of underage driving.
Underage driving is a crime under the law, and special teams have been formed to take action against underage and unlicensed drivers.
Parents are urged not to allow children under 18 to drive, and cases will be registered against fathers who violate this rule.
The campaign emphasizes the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices. By educating citizens and enforcing laws, the authorities aim to reduce the risks associated with underage driving .
