BAHAWALPUR, May 26 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Dr Farhan Farooq formally inaugurated the polio eradication campaign by administering polio drops to children in the outpatient department of Bahawal Victoria Hospital.
During the national campaign, over 824,000 children under the age of five will be vaccinated against polio in Bahawalpur district. The District Health Officer, Deputy District Health Officer, WHO representatives, and other staff also attended the event.
Deputy Commissioner Dr Farhan Farooq urged parents to fully cooperate with the health department teams to protect their children from disability.
