ISLAMABAD, May 11 (APP): Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Wednesday said various long term energy projects were underway, which on completion would help meet the growing demand in the country.
Talking to PTV, he said when the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) came to power in 2013, there was a huge gap between supply and demand of gas in the country. The incumbent government made efforts and succeeded in reducing the gas supply-demand gap, he added.
He said that gas was being imported for the first time in the history.
