Terrorism incidents declined due to NAP, Zarb-e-Azb: Khurram

ISLAMABAD, Aug 11 (APP): Minister for Commerce Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan Thursday said that terrorism incidents had declined in the country due to implementation of Nation Action Plan (NAP) and the operation Zarb-e-Azb.
“Civil and military leadership are on same page to complete wipe out terrorism as we have achieved immense success in eradication of terrorism from the country,” he said talking to PTV.
The minister said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had held several meetings to discuss the country’s situation and evolve a consensus on terrorism issue. “We would not tolerate terrorism and extremism in any shape in the country.”
He said Pakistan army was successfully combating war against terrorism and rendered supreme sacrifices in this regard.
Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has taken visible actions against terrorists financing.
He said the same anti-state elements were behind Benazir Bhutto assignation, attacks on Ismaili and Hazara communities and Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar.
