KARACHI, Sep 11 (APP):Governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail and provincial chief minister on Tuesday visited the mausoleum of Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah here the occasion of his 70th death anniversary.
Many of the members of Sindh cabinet were also present on the
premises and joined Governor-CM duo of the province in offering fateha
for the Father of the Nation.
Floral wreaths were also laid by the dignitaries who also paid
glowing tributes to the founder of the country in the book placed on
mazar premises.
Gates of the mausoleum were opened for the general public, soon
after the departure of the Governor, Chief Minister and his cabinet
consequently significant rush was registered of citizens who ensured
their presence to mark their respect for the Great Leader, despite
being a working day.
Many of the schools had special arrangements to bring their
students, after prior permission of the Quaid e Azam Management Board,
so as to rekindle spirit of respect for the man who along with his
team of self less workers managed to get an independent state, against
all odds for the muslims of the sub continent.
