‘Shaher-i-Kitab’ to be set up in Karachi: Siddiqui


KARACHI, Feb 28 (APP): Adviser to the Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui Sunday said that Shaher-i-Kitab, an academic and literary city, would be established to help restore the usual hustle and bustle here in the metropolis. This area would be a centre of academic and literary activities where writers and poets would converge on, he said while talking to newsmen during his visit to the National Book Foundation (NBF) here. The Adviser said that `Shaher-i-Kitab’ would help foster the academic and literary image of the metropolis and Karachiites would also get books at concessional rates.
