ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (APP): Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani on Tuesday visited Supreme Court and met President Supreme Court Bar Association Syed Ali Zaffar and offered condolence over killing of lawyers in Quetta bomb blast and expressed sympathies and solidarity with the families of breaved.
Speaking on the occasion, Raza Rabbani said such kind of coward attacks could not weak the nation’s commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country.
Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan accompanied the Senate Chairman during the visit.
Raza Rabbani condemned the attack on legal fraternity and stated that lawyers are the pillar of democracy and they have sacrificed a lot for democracy.
On the occasion President SCBA Ali Zaffar thanked the Senate Chairman for expressing solidarity and stated that lawyers always played a pivotal role for national development.
He demanded foolproof security for courts and hospitals. He said that combing operations should be carried in Balochistan.
