PHF slams FIH, sees influence of India

LAHORE, Nov 9 (APP)- The divisional and regional round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s national Inter Club hockey championship is in full swing across the country in its second phase.
The club championship has been revived by the PHF after a decade to identify fresh talent, said a spokesman of PHF here on Wednesday. In the first round was contested at district level.
“Top two clubs emerging from each district’s inter club competition are presently participating in the divisional round,” he said.
Next, in the third phase, the top two clubs from every division’s inter club tournament would appear in the provincial round of the national inter club competition.
PHF has assigned the following centres to hold the respective provincial rounds in the eight provinces/units.
Venues for provincial rounds, KPK Mardan (Mardan Sports Complex), Punjab Lahore (National Hockey Stadium), Baluchistan Quetta (General Musa Hockey stadium), Sindh Larkana (M.A.Khoro Hockey Stadium), Islamabad Islamabad (Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium), AJK&K Rawalakot (Rawalakot Hockey Stadium), Gilgit-Baltistan Gilgit, FATA.
