LAHORE, Sep 16 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said taking measures to resolve problems of masses was the top priority of the government.
The officials concerned should spare two hours daily to listen to public complaints and display their timings of receiving public complaints at their offices, he added.
Issuing special directions to the chief secretary, the IGP and heads of various other departments, the chief minister said all-out efforts should be made to resolve complaints of people and those who come to government offices for complaints should be treated with politeness and respect.
People should observe positive change in attitude of the public servants, he said and added instruction to resolve public complaints should be implemented strictly and action will be taken against the officials who show laziness and ignorance to the public complaints.
He said in new Pakistan officers and officials should focus on the public service.
