Qaiser, Suri condemn Pashtunabad blast; offer prayers for deceased


ISLAMABAD, May 24 (APP):National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri Friday strongly condemned the blast outside the Jamia Masjid at Pashtunabad in Quetta which left at least one martyred and four others injured.

They expressed their extreme sorrow and grief over the deaths of the innocent people gathered for Jumma prayer and prayed for early recovery of the injured in the blast.

“The terrorist who carried out blasts in mosques and other places of worship are the enemies of humanity, and they have no association with any religion and sect,” they in a joint statement said.

They directed law enforcement agencies to take all possible measures against those involved in Pashtunabad blast and to curb terrorist activities from the province ensuring protection of the people at any cost.
