ISLAMABAD, Dec 6 (APP): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Law and Justice, Barrister Zafarullah Tuesday said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wanted a quick decision from the Supreme Court on Panama Papers case.
Talking to private televison, ‘Nadeem Malik Live’, he said it was a first case in his life that petitioner had not presented even a single evidence before the apex court.
He said there was no evidence against the prime minister in Panama Papers case.
Zafarullah said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would be vindicated from the court.
Maryam Safdar was independent and paying her taxes constantly, he added.
He said the PML-N government wanted to make a law for accountability with consensus of parliamentary political parties.
