PM takes solid stance regarding Kashmir issue: Khurram

ISLAMABAD, Sept 27 (APP): Minister for Commerce Engr Khurram Dastgir Khan Tuesday said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has taken a solid stance in his speech at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Kashmir issue.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan has highlighted Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris in Occupied valley at every available platform.
The minister said the Prime Minister has courageously presented Kashmir issue at UNGA for the third time consecutively.
He said Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi and other parliamentarians were also highlighting Kashmir cause.
He said people of Kashmir had long struggle for their basic right to self determination and rendered supreme sacrifices for Kashmir.
Khurram Dastgir said Indus Water Treaty was continued despite wars with India but if it will dismiss trade and water with Pakistan than we would react in same way.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a terrorist mind-set when he was the Chief Minister of Gujrat, 5000 Muslims were killed and now involved in state terrorism in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
He praised Maleeha Lodhi speech in UNGA as it was per expectations to the country.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khalid Maqbool said Modi is a extremist mind-set and he was also behind terror incidents in Gujrat and IHK.
He lauded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s address and said it was up to the expectations of the nation and Kashmiri people.
