PM directs federal minister to immediately proceed to Saudi Arabia to help stranded Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD, Aug 3 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz
Sharif Wednesday directed the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development to immediately proceed to Saudi Arabia to coordinate all the relief measures for stranded Pakistanis.

He also directed the Ministry to coordinate with Pakistani Mission in Saudi Arabia to mitigate the plight of
Pakistanis till their issues are resolved, a statement issued
from the Prime Minister’s Office here said.

The Prime Minister also directed Bait-ul-Mal authorities to provide financial resources to the Pakistanis who were
stuck in Saudi Arabia for no fault of them.

“We will make every possible effort to resolve the plight of our brethren in Saudi Arabia. I have directed the Foreign Office to submit me the report on daily basis,” the Prime Minister said.
