PM delivered speech in UNGA as per nation’s expectations: AJK PM

ISLAMABAD, Sep 24 (APP): Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider on Saturday said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has delivered speech in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as per expectations of nation and Kashmiri people.

The Prime Minister address in UNGA and meetings with world
leaders would yield positive results in resolving Kashmir issue and expressed hope that now international community would play its role to stop Indian brutalities on innocent Kashmiris, he said talking to PTV.

He said that US had asserted that it had clear stance regarding Kashmir dispute.

United States, Britain, France and China had cast vote in the UNGA in favor of Kashmir issue in the past.

He said the Prime Minister had delivered a comprehensive speech which covered all international and national issue including Kashmir dispute.

AJK Prime Minister said that Pakistani nation, government and political parties were on same page regarding Kashmir issue.

People of Kashmir wanted their basic right to self determination at any cost and rendered supreme sacrifices for it, he added.

Raja Farooq Haider said, earlier the Prime Minister had
visited Muzaffarabad and met several leaders including Hurriyet leaders, those presented some suggestions and the Prime Minister assured that such recommendations would be
presented in UNGA.
