ISLAMABAD, Feb 20 (APP):Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday appreciated DFID’s continued engagement with Pakistan especially in the education sector and emphasized on further strengthening of this partnership in skill development, which was critical for employment of the youth of the country.
The Prime Minister was talking to Secretary of State for International Development and Minister for Women Development and Equalities Penny Mordaunt who called on him. Lynn Davidson, Special Advisor to Secretary of State, British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew, Joanna Reid, Head of DFID Pakistan and others accompanied her.
Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Haroon Sharif, Special Assistant to PM (SAPM) Naeem-ul-Haq, Secretary Interior and others were also present during the meeting.
The regional situation also came under discussion during the meeting.
