Parliamentarians term budget poor-friendly


RAWALPINDI, June 3 (APP): The Parliamentarians termed the fourth federal budget of the present government as poor-friendly.
PML-N led government deserves credit and appreciation for presenting 4th successful annual federal budget despite facing tough financial constraint.
MNA Malik Ibrar and MPAs Malik Iftikhar, Raja Hanif Advocate, Zaib un Nisa, Tehseen Fawad while commenting on budget speech said that PML-N government was working for the betterment of the poor.
They appreciated the government for allocations of funds for construction of dams to overcome the prevailing energy crisis in the country.
They said that allocation of Rs 115 billion for Benazir Income Support Programme would facilitate the poor.
The increase of funds in education sector from 24 billion to 28 billion and health sector from 23 billion to 29 was a laudable step of the government in the present financial crunch.
Similarly allocation for agriculture sector would help
increase production and benefit the farmers community.
