Pakistan’s move to keep Kashmir on UNSC’s agenda underlines its resolve for settlement: Diplomats

UNITED NATIONS, Jan 22 (APP): Pakistan’s latest request to the U.N. Security Council to retain the Kashmir issue on its agenda reflects Islamabad’s determination to pursue all options for a just settlement of the dispute that would promotepeace and stability in South Asia, diplomats here say. The request for retention of the “India-Pakistan question” on the  15-member body’s agenda was made by Pakistan’s UN Ambassador Dr. Maleeha Lodhi in a letter to the Security Council President for the month of January, Ambassador Elbio Rosselli of Uruguay.
