Pakistan’s Liquid Foreign Reserves reached to over US $ 21.601 million


ISLAMABAD, Jun 2 (APP): The total liquid foreign
reserves held by the country stood at US$21,601.7 million on May 27,2016.

Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position a
statement of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) issued on
Thursday said that Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$ 16,807.2 million while the Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at US$ 4,794.5  million.

The Bank statement said that during the week ending May
27,2016, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$3 million to US$16,807 million, compared to US$16,810 million in the previous week.
