Radio Pakistan to air special programmes on Quaid’s death anniversary

ISLAMABAD, Sep 6 (APP): Political leaders and defense analysts said Tuesday that defense of the country is impregnable.

This was expressed by them at a special defense day show organized by Radio Pakistan’s News and Current Affairs Channel here on Tuesday to pay homage to martyrs of 1965 war.

Senator Abdul Qayyum said we are again confronting a proxy war imposed by our enemy after 50 years.

He urged the nation to demonstrate unity to foil the conspiracies by enemies.

Defense analyst and former President National Defense
University Lt. G ® Raza Muhammad Khan said India has been trying to disseminate disinformation to show that Pakistan started the 1965 war. Even the Indian writers do not accept this argument.

Commodore ® Dr. Azhar Ahmed recalled the valor with which Pakistan Navy fought the enemy.

Major General ® Muhammad Farooq Malik (Hilal-e-Imtiaz) said Radio Pakistan played an effective role in the war.

Defense Analyst Lt General ® Amjad Shoib, Dr M Khan said the nation is fully united to confront any threat to the security and defense of the country.
