CHICAGO, Apr 8 (APP): Pakistan is taking a series of steps to eliminate extremism and sectarian intolerance in the country, Consul General Faisal Niaz Tirmizi has said.

During a visit to the World Affairs Council of Kentucky/Southern Indiana, he also told his audience that efforts were underway to promote religious harmony.

According to a press release, the Consul General, as part of his series of briefings at think-tanks and Universities of Midwestern US, was at Indian University Bloomington on April 6.
