India tries to give false color to exchange of fire to satisfy its people and media: Defence Minister

ISLAMABAD, Sep 19 (APP): Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Sunday reacted to the Indian allegations and Pakistan was ready to give answer and defend itself if anything happened at the Line of Control (LoC) by Indian side.

The situation deteriorated in Indian-held Kashmir due to Indian atrocities and abuse of human rights, he said talking to a private channel.

Khawaja Asif said Pakistan had nothing to do with the Uri incident, adding Pakistan only extends moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said India had been massacring innocent Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir.

He said it was an attempt by India to defame the struggle of
Kashmiris.

The minister said India would ultimately have to pay for the state terrorism it was conducting in Kashmir.
