Pakistan now on road to progress: Shehbaz

Pakistan, Canada enjoying deep-rooted friendly relations: CM

LAHORE, Oct 2 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday that Pakistan has been put on road to progress under leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, and journey of progress and prosperity will be continued more speedily than before.

In meeting with Sherazi Brothers from Sindh, the Chief Minister said that Pakistan Muslim League N government had always given priority to national interest and promoted decency, restraint and democratic norms in politics.

Shehbaz Sharif said that those indulging in the politics of
allegations and anarchy were not well wishers of the country and the nation, adding that defeated elements were making futile efforts to stop journey of speedy development. On the one hand there was transparency, hard work, honesty and politics of service, while on the other hand there was negative politics of chaos and vandalism, but conscious people of Pakistan had become fully aware of those serving selflessly and those spreading anarchy, he maintained.

Chief Minister said that elements indulging in the politics of
anarchy and negative politics wanted to create hurdles in the way of coutry’s development but these defeated elements should know that in a democratic system, the decisions were taken in the parliament and not on the roads.

Sherazi Brothers congratulated Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on receiving the honor of Punjab Speed by Chinese government on completion of projects speedily in Punjab. They said that PML N leadership was serving the people day and night, and the people had fed up by protest politics.

Those who met the Chief Minister included Member Sindh Assembly Syed Ijaz Ali Shah Sherazi, former MNA Syed Shafqat Ali Sherazi and Thatha District PML N President Muhammad Hanif Memon.
