Pakistan, Afghanistan urged to settle issues of Afghan refugees

PESHAWAR, July 27 (APP): Representatives of Afghan
refugees Wednesday demanded both Pakistan and Afghanistan to resolve the issues of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press
Club, President Central Shura for Afghan Refugees Baryale Miankhel said that a lot of Afghan refugees were living in Pakistan for four decades with dignity.

He said Afghan refugees were not facing problems rather
they were moving freely in Pakistan after obtaining the
registration card from Islamabad.

Miankhel informed a huge number of Afghan refugees were
having various properties and business related deals
with Pakistanis including owners of brick kilns and they have to return the agreed money.

He further requested UNCHR to facilitate Afghan students
studying in various universities and colleges in Pakistan and
colleges on registration cards.
