ISLAMABAD, Feb 29 (APP): Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal on Monday urged the Pakistani-American community to play a proactive role in promoting positive image of Pakistan as the country was coming out of the shadows of past economic and security challenges. Addressing a gathering of Pakistani-American community and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz US workers in New York, he also  urged them to take active part in local community welfare  programmes and take part in the US democratic system to promote understanding between United States and Pakistan.
