No logic of PTI’s demonstrations, sit ins: Raja Zafar ul Haq

RAWALPINDI, Oct 22 (APP): Senator, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) Raja Zafar ul Haq Saturday said there was no logic of politics of protest demonstrations and sit ins on Panama issue as Supreme Court had issued notices in the case.

Talking to media persons here after attending a prize distribution ceremony of Jinnah Preparatory School held at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC), he said, the politics of sit ins of Pakistan Tahreek e Insaf (PTI) would damage the economy and democracy.

The politics of sit ins would send a negative message to the world and could harm the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said adding, Imran Khan should review his protest call given for November, 2.

He said, PML N government would complete its tenure and next general election would be held in 2018.

PML N government has initiated a number of mega development projects and making all out efforts to uplift living standards of the masses.

The government is fighting against terrorism and extremism.
He paid tributes to the martyrs of Pak Army and other law enforcement agencies who rendered their lives to maintain peace in the country.

The Senator lauded the efforts of the Jinnah Preparatory School for promoting education and said that no nation can progress without education.

The Chief Guest distributed medals and certificates among top position holders and felicitated the students and teachers on excellent performance.
