National Book Museum attracts large number of visitors

ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP): National Book Museum is attracting a
large number of visitors here at National Book Foundation (NBF).
The country first national book Museum was established last year, depicting exciting cultural touch, paintings of arts, splendid literary history, heritage, national art and culture.
At present, there are a total of 500 books most of which are by
our leading scholars, authors and poets and some by foreign writers
on subjects such as Sufism, Pakistan Movement, Quaid-e Azam and
Allam Iqbal etc.
Dr. Zia ur Rehman, a visitor of Book Museum appreciated NBF for initiating various innovative schemes for promoting book
reading culture in the country.
“It is a great inspiration for young generation and book -art
lovers to learn about their cultural values, literature, artistic
asset and rich heritage,” he added.
Another researcher Wahid Ullah said that books and art bring
harmony and softness in our minds which lead to the path of peace
and love in the society.
He further said that establishment of National Book Museum is
ideally suited for promotion of our national literary heritage,
literacy, education and book culture among all and sundry at each
nook and corner of our country.
The visitors from different walks of life applauded the
services rendered by National Book Foundation in the fields of art,
literature and book culture.
