ISLAMABAD, May 10 (APP): Advisor to Prime Minister on Law and
Justice Barrister Zafarullah Khan Tuesday said corruption had been
rightly labelled as mother of all ills as it gave birth to multifarious problems, including nepotism and favoritism.
“It negates meritocracy, transparency and accountability. Role of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is very important in eradication of corruption from the country,” he said while addressing a seminar organized by the NAB here at National Library.
He said Father of Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in his address to Constituent Assembly of Pakistan had termed “corruption a poison” which needed to be put down with an iron hand.
